SmartBuyTrends acts solely as an intermediary, holding payment until the product is satisfactorily delivered to the buyer. We ensure the best transaction results but do not take responsibility for the quality, safety, morality, or legality of products, nor the accuracy of listings. We continuously monitor users and products to maintain quality standards and minimize fraud.
1. Seller Responsibilities
- Profile Completion: Complete your store profile upon registration.
- Appropriate Content: Do not upload abusive, obscene, or threatening content.
- Accurate Information: Ensure all contact and bank information is correct to avoid delays.
- Delivery Coordination: Communicate with the buyer to arrange a convenient delivery time and place.
- Product Authenticity: Deliver the product as advertised, without defects or unauthorized modifications.
- Correct Recipient: Ensure the product is delivered to the person who made the purchase.
- Tax Compliance: Pay any applicable taxes.
- Customer Support: Provide necessary support for the product sold and involve SmartBuyTrends support if needed.
- Returns Handling: Manage returns for faulty products, including covering shipping costs if necessary.
- Payment Issues: Communicate with SmartBuyTrends support if any payment issues arise.
- Penalty Payment: Pay a 10% penalty for failed sales or selling outside the platform without a replacement product.
2. Buyer Responsibilities
- Report Issues: Contact SmartBuyTrends support immediately if a product is faulty to pause payment transfer.
- Delivery Coordination: Arrange a convenient delivery time and place with the seller.
- Delivery Costs: Pay for delivery or shipping if necessary.
- Product Verification: Verify that the received product matches the description at the time of delivery.
- Confirm Delivery: Confirm receipt of the product on the SmartBuyTrends platform to release payment to the seller.
- Intermediation: Contact SmartBuyTrends support for any replacement or return issues.
- Penalty Payment: Pay a 10% penalty for failed sales.
- Platform Usage: Conduct all transactions through SmartBuyTrends for security and support purposes.
3. Delivery Driver Responsibilities
As a delivery driver for SmartBuyTrends, you play a critical role in ensuring that our marketplace runs smoothly and that products reach buyers in a timely and secure manner. By accepting a delivery assignment, you agree to the following responsibilities:
- Professional Conduct: You are expected to act professionally at all times during the delivery process. This includes maintaining clear and respectful communication with both sellers and buyers.
- Timely Deliveries: Complete all deliveries within the timeframe agreed upon between the seller and buyer. Any delays must be communicated promptly to both parties via the platform’s messaging system.
- Package Handling: Handle all packages with care to avoid damage during transport. It is your responsibility to ensure that products are delivered in the same condition as received.
- Delivery Confirmation: Ensure that the product is delivered to the correct buyer. Obtain the buyer’s confirmation of receipt through the SmartBuyTrends platform to complete the transaction.
- Accurate Documentation: Verify that all delivery details, including the recipient's information and product specifications, are accurate before leaving for delivery.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all local traffic laws and regulations during delivery, and ensure that your vehicle is properly maintained and insured.
- Confidentiality: Protect the privacy and personal information of both sellers and buyers, including addresses and contact details, as per SmartBuyTrends privacy policy.
- Issue Reporting: Promptly report any issues encountered during delivery (e.g., incorrect address, non-receipt of product by buyer, damaged goods) to SmartBuyTrends support for assistance and resolution.
- Refusal of Delivery: In cases where the delivery cannot be completed (e.g., incorrect address or recipient unavailability), return the product to the seller or follow the instructions provided by SmartBuyTrends.
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in penalties, including withholding payment for incomplete or unsatisfactory deliveries, suspension from the platform, or legal action depending on the severity of the breach.
4. Terms for Commercialization
- User Registration: All new users must register with complete information for verification and security purposes. This information is confidential and used exclusively by the platform in compliance with the Data Protection Law.
- Product Categories: Only products within the existing categories and subcategories may be sold. SmartBuyTrends reserves the right to change product categories and restrict or remove unauthorized products.
- Pricing: Prices on the platform may change without notice and all purchases are made in Balboa or US dollars via Debit or Credit Card, Paypal or Yappy.
- Offers and Promotions: Offers and promotions will be clearly communicated with validity periods through email or other means.
5. Prohibited Content
Users shall not upload, distribute, or publish any content that includes harmful code, is defamatory, obscene, indecent, pornographic, or infringes on intellectual property rights. Violations could result in civil or criminal liability under applicable laws.
